Competition Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions: 1. This offer is open to residents of the UK aged 16 and over. Employees and agents of Victoria Foods are excluded from the competition. 2. Entries to the competition should be sent via the entry form that can be found on the Home Baker website (www.homebake.co.uk) and in Jane Asher cake mixes (date available from to be confirmed) or alternatively on A4 paper in size and provided to the address provided, no later than August 10th 2008.
3. The competition opens for entries on April 1st 2008. 4. Multiple entries can be submitted throughout the duration of the promotion. 5. The competition will be judged by Victoria Foods and Jane Asher; other judges are to be confirmed. 6. There is one first prize, a second prize and three runners up prizes and no cash alternatives will be offered. 7. Prizes are to be confirmed by first of March 2008. 8. Any additional expenses are the responsibility of the winners. 9. No cash alternatives will be offered. In the unlikely event of non-availability of the prize the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value. 10. Responsibility cannot be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed in transit. 11. The judges’ decision is final. 12. No correspondence will be entered into. Instructions for participation form part of these rules. 13. Entrants must be available to attend the initial judging in Manchester on 9th October 2008. The winners may be required to participate in publicity and this may involve having their photograph taken or being filmed for broadcasting purposes. Travel and accommodation for all finalists to get to the event on 9th October will be paid for. 14. The name and county of winners will be available after the final judging (Thursday 9th October 2008) to anyone sending a stamped addressed envelope marked Home Baker of the Year Competition, Victoria Foods Ltd, Bright Street, Leigh, Lancashire WN7 5QH. 15. No third party entries will be accepted. 16. No purchase necessary.
